With the increasing maturity of IPv6 technology and the expanding construction scale of IPv6 network, there will be much more applications based on IPv6, and IPv6 network will bring more convenience to users. However, at the same time, IPv6 will bring new challenges to the network architecture, network performance and network security. Through traffic analysis and traffic management study, we can find ways to address these challenges. In IPv4 networks, there have been many studies on the traffic analysis and traffic management, but in the IPv6 network, research in this area is still relatively small.This article implements a traffic management system, which works in IPv6 network environment and can analyze, identify, count and monitor the network traffic of a network node. The core technologies in the system are the protocol restore in IPv6 network, IPv6 network traffic count and deep packet inspection based on an improved AC algorithm.Traditional protocol restore is based on single-threaded, but which efficiency is low, because it cannot make full use of system resources, especially SMP systems. In addition, Traditional protocol restore only suit IPv4 data, but it can be expected during the transition period of IPv4 to IPv6, IPv4 and IPv6 data will always coexist. In order to improve the efficiency and achieve the support for network data in the transition period, the paper design and implement a multi-thread based parallel dual-stack, experimental testing on its high throughput.Traffic statistic is based on protocol restore. Based on multi-threaded parallel protocol stack, this paper design and implement a traffic statistics function for IPv6 network. Testing to the implementation illustrate its statistics correctly, and high performance.In order to improve efficiency, deep packet inspection use automatic machine to achieve the match. This paper presents an improved AC algorithm, and according to the algorithm implements the deep packet inspection function, which can achieve IP and port combination match, URL match and keyword match in IPv6 packets. Testing to the deep packet inspection illustrate its right and high efficiency.
