Wireless sensor networks (WSNS) has been widely used in various fields, but still only rest on the preliminary discovery and research phase with a lack of various related mature technologies, so the research on the information security theory and encryption technology for WSNS can promote better and faster its development. The traditional encryption and decryption algorithms require more various resources and they are well applied to the nodes in WSNS with less energy, low computing power and limited storage resources, so there is less encryption and decryption algorithm for the nodes in WSNS. At the same time, the chaotic maps with mixed properties, pseudo-random properties of the signal and the sensitivity of the system parameters are consistent with the characteristics of the cryptographic security, so the encryption and decryption algorithm based on chaos theories has the prospects with high efficiency, less resource and high secure in the cryptography fields. This paper presents two novel block encryption schemes based on multiple chaotic Maps dynamic and the Feistel network structure and S-box, which are kinds of fast, secure, low resource consumption and suitable for WSNS nodes encryption scheme. Thorough experimental tests for the two new encryption schemes are carried out with detailed analysis, demonstrating the large key space, very good diffusion and disrupt performance, strict avalanche effect, excellent statistical balance and fast encryption speed of the two new schemes, and these features make the two encryption schemes pass the SP800-22 test; meanwhile, the analysis and testing of speed, time and storage space on the simulator platform shows the two new encryption schemes are well able to hide the data information the node in WSNS send out. We can choose the two algorithms for the specific application environment and requirements. Innovation of this paper is that the selected chaotic equations are discretized for integer operations, a new S-box is constructed and an encryption algorithm is designed with mixing the chaos and S-box.
