Research And Application Of Data Mining In Hospital Information System

As the hospital information system can not meet the decision support needs of managers, a method was proposed in this paper using the technology of clustering and decision tree to build departments grouping and customer classification, for support management decision analysis management.On the basis of deeply discussing the data pretreatment and the technology of designing data warehouse, the star model of management and decision-making module in hospital information system was established. Using of clustering technology, put forward a clustering model combined numbers of customer with department income for providing more objective and accurate decision support to select featured departments and formulate management strategy. By analyzing the characteristics of customer classification, consulting a large number of material related customer segmentation, found that patients as a particular customer groups, clustering by bring benefits was lack of objectivity. A clustering model of combined client's natural attributes with the behavioral attributes was proposed. Studied techniques of postpruning and attribute selection, using of C4.5 algorithm to classify the customer for providing reference to develop health care marketing strategy. An improved K-means algorithm was proposed, using a pre-classification method to get the groups with similar characteristics, reduced the costs system brought by adjusting the cluster centers. The knowledge that was showed in the results of data mining was deeply analyzed. And gave personalized management strategy.Management and decision-making system completed the function of hospital routine income statistical. Through integrating in and using of huge amounts of data to provide reliable data to management in order to real-time know well the hospital earnings. According various cases to departments clustering for providing theoretical support to managers. Achieved hospital customer grouping, and completed customer classification, providing reliable basis to managers formulating marketing strategies.
