The urban water supply system, which provides security for the water using of the whole community in life and industry, makes management and the reasonable protection of water supply. The urban water supply system takes an important role in the lifeblood of the community running, which is the core of the water supply system. With the rapid development of science and technology, the environmental pollution becomes more and more serious, so does the demand of the society for urban water supply. New technology and equipment must be used to protect the safety of water. So the distributed monitoring and control system is designed and researched.First, an embedded system is introduced in this article, including the hardware and embedded operating system; And the platform for debugging of the Distributed Monitoring and Control System is also designed, in order to communicate between the embedded operating system and the desktop operating system; Then, the software part of the PC was designed, including the communication, display, the realization of alarm function and completion of relevant content database. Finally, based on the application of the fuzzy adaptive PID control concept, an optimized scheme was proposed, which makes the pumps working even better.According to the design above, a lower computer was designed, taking the embedded ARM as the processor and WINDOWS CE embedded operating system as the system, With the PC and a distributed monitoring system finished, experimental results show that: the distributed monitoring and control system is stable, which can manage the stations effectively and apply a good value in practice.
