Research And Application Of Embedded Web Server On The Remote Monitoring And Control

Internet-based remote monitoring and control is the hot issue in field of computer-controlled. The underlying enterprise information network access controller through Internet, managers can monitor in the world and control the operational status of these devices but not in person anywhere, thus saving a lot of cost, such systems in industrial automation has been widely used.After the analysis of the domestic and foreign research for embedded Web server and key technologies of remote monitoring system and their implementations,this paper propeses the design of remote monitoring system based on the the embedded microprocessors and embedded operating system,which is applied to a temperature monitoring instance and simulantly implemented through the development Board.This paper firstly elaborates the characteristics and applications of embedded system,features and functions of mainstream embedded microprocessor.Linux has strong support for embedded technology and its kernel can be cut.Its network function is powerful and source code is open.If Linux are ported to embedded system,it can be better able to exert the advantages of ARM and linux. Therefore, the system selects the mainstream ARM microprocessor hardware platforms andμClinux OS.The system is moved to S3C44B0 as the development platform by reducting,configurating and compilingμClinux.This paper researches and analyzes the mechanism of embedded Web server,configurates and compiles Boa web server inμClinux OS.The Boa web server is improved and the function of multi-user privileges access control and SSL are increased. We compile DS18B20 temperature sensor program inμClinux OS in the base of its data mannual.At the same time,we use mSQL embedded Database to storage data and design temperature distance monitoring system. The server responds requirment from client by CGI program,and then give back the dealed date to client.After designing,users can monitor and control distant device at terminal browser and achive distance monitoring function.Finally,we discuss application prospect of embedded web server and something that will be improved in the paper.
