Research Of μClinux Porting Based On ARM

With the development of computer technology, embedded system has been become an important composition in computer fields, and it is focus of new developing research in recent years. This paper takes S3C44B0x which is one kind of ARM7TDMI kernel, high efficiency and low consumption RISC processor as CPU.Seleting μClinux as the embedded operating system,constructing a hardware platform. This paper designs an embedded hardware platform, μClinux OS is disposed an embedded OS, embedding it in hardware platform. Realizing network function of driving RTL8019 at the bottom of μClinux; analyzing root file system, through realizing of driving JFFS2 file system at the bottom of μClinux, realizing operation of erasing, reading, writing on JFFS2 file system in this platform.Realizing that how to design application programme on μClinux.Completing independently to design hardware and port μClinux OS in research of embedding system, mastering the core technology of developing embedded platform.
