For most Chinese enterprises, stock costs around 50% of the total working capital. Therefore, it is necessary to apply effective inventory management method in order to speed up capital turnover, reduce costs and boost competitiveness. The industry is a very special industry, in China the main problems for enterprises'current inventory management system are as follows:(1) The number of inventory is huge, and the kind is variety; (2) too much information, and the information neither accurate nor in time, so it's difficult for manager to make right decision, which led to low levels of current inventory management; (3) The logistics nodes are complicated, inventory reserve is repeated, irrational stock structure; (4) Safety stock is irrational and so on. In a word, effective inventory management, especially safety stock management can not only make the production and business activities of enterprises safe, but also can improve production efficiency, reduce costs and boost business competitiveness, so it is imperative to develop the safety stock management system of enterprises inventory.Combined with enterprises'own characteristics, using the. appropriate method is undoubtedly an important part of safety stock management.
