The administrators hope with the help of data analysis, they can get some interesting internal connections, so with the supporting of the data, they can make better decision to improve teachers’ teaching qualities.Firstly, the paper analyzed the background and current situation both home and abroad, then study the theory and technology of data mining, The paper is not only emphasizing in introducing data mining rules and classic Apriori algorithm in detail, but also putting forward an improvement of Apriori algorithm and demonstrating it. Secondly, based on the idea of data mining, the writer designed and implemented a teaching quality evaluation system, and applied the system in teaching evaluation system designing and applying research of Beijing City University. With the help of using Apriori algorithm,we got lots of data based on the student evaluations, such as gender, professional title, educational background, age,etc. The inner relations offer some factors affecting teaching quality evaluation results. Through the analysis of these factors, the teaching management should encourage teachers’ effortsTo improve their professional skills and abilities, arrange courses reasonably, employ highly educated and high title part-time teachers are the recommendations given.
