Virtual Reality is a very important branch among computer science with the rapid development of digital information technology, people are paying more and more attention to its research and implication. However, the rendering technology of virtual scene is always the kernel problem at home and abroad in recent years,which has been widely used in education and training,aerospace,military simulation,urban planning and other fields and has a very wide range of practical value and application prospect.The solved ways are mentioned as follows:Graphic Based Rendering and Image Based Rendering as well as Graphic and Image Based hybrid Rendering. The researches include:(1)By the analysis of the features of virtual scene rendering,several classified ways of image rendering technology and some panoramas models and formed procedures are expounded for the purpose of further research.(2)To achieve the balance between the realistic of the virtual scene and display load, texture mapping and hidden-surface processing are used to optimize the model without affecting the accuracy. The realistic of the scene and real-time display reached the desired effect.(3)For the real-time display and complication of virtual scene, an algorithm for constucting polygon meshes based on different levels is presented in this paper, which uses texture mipmapping to terrain LOD and interpolates the location of element in meshes to realize smooth transitions between models. This can strengthen the reality and increase the rendering speed of virtual scene.(4)In the process of sky simulation in three dimension scene,some traditional simulated views are discussed and a modeling based on dome model is presented,the paper adopts display list to store rendering functions for the large amounts of points in dome model,which can improve rendering efficiency to great extent.
