Research On Amc Technology And Channel Algorithm Based On TD-HSDPA System

TD-HSDPA is an enhanced technology of TD-SCDMA, which is one of the third generation mobile communication standards, aiming at satisfying the ever-increasing data communication service and increasing the throughput and competitiveness. To achieve the goal of high-speed data communication, technologies such like AMC, HARQ and MIMO are introduced to the TD-HSDPA systems.This article performed an investigation on two self-adaptive coding technologies; the first one is based on exploration, which determines coding method according to the rate of the error frames and the number of retransmission; the second self-adaptive coding technology is based on the predication of channel, which adjusts coding methods according to the SNR. Both encoding schemes are investigated by the simulation to analyze their respective merits and drawbacks.Three classical grouping algorithms were compared by the research; improvements are conducted to the classical PF algorithm. Simulation demonstrated that the throughput and fairness are improved.
