In this paper, a new laser material Nd:YAG ceramics have been done a lot of theoretical and experimental research. Firstly, assess the performance of ceramic laser materials, and then study the solid-state Nd:YAG ceramic laser with the performance. We do the further research at 1064nm and 1123nm respectively, and have obtained significant progress. The maximum output power 961 W and 1030W are obtained at 1064nm which are kilowatt-level ceramic lasers by a multi-rod and laser amplification technology, optical- optical conversion efficiency of 38.3% and 29.7%, a slope efficiency of 45.3% and 40.2%, separately. These are the highest level of domestic ceramic laser. In addition, the 1123nm lasers are achieved. Maximum laser output power 509W is obtained through theoretical calculations and coating technology, optical - optical conversion efficiency of 23.1%, a slope efficiency of 28.8%. And this is also the highest output power all-solid-state ceramic laser 1123nm.
