Modeling And Simulation On A Wideband Space-Time MIMO Wireless Channel

MIMO can get rid of the constraint of radio freqency resource and greatly increase the spectral efficiency of wireless systems,and thus is considerde as one of the most promising breakthrough te-chnology to improve system performance,enhance the capacity and spectrum efficiecy.Although,the high performance promised by MIMO techonlogy is highly dependent on the propagation channels. Therefore,it is necessary to research MIMO radio channel modeling.Firstly,the paper conclusion on fading characteristic of wireless channel.Secondly introduce mathematical model and describe the spatial characteristics of MIMO Wireless channels. And then review the typical spatial channel model in short.Base on flat fading channel simulation deduce the principle of frequency selective channel simulation process.Furthermore extend to taking into acco-unt modeling and simulation on the space characteristics of MIMO channel.The main contribution of this paper is by the use narrowband one-ring model put forward an equivalent method which is that redivide scatterers to apply to wideband channels. Making using of SOS obtain corresponding simulation model,and then making using of MEDS and LPNM obtain unkonwn parameters of the model.Comparing with the theoretical reference model, draw the concl-usion that the reference model is the same as the simulation model.Furthermore time autocorrelation and space cross-correlation function and frequency crosscorrrelation function is acquired.Research on the channel capacity of the new wideband model and analyse the firs-torder statistical propertie: the probability density function and the cumulative distribution function(PDF,CDF)and the second-order statistical properties:the level crossing rate and the average duration of fades (LCR,ADF) of the channel capacity.
