Under the new guidelines for application of information technology in education from Henan province and nation, Henan Education and Science Research Network (following abbreviation as "HESRN") has become the important infrastructure for the application of information technology Henan higher education area and been playing important role in education, research and management of Henan's colleges and universities. This particular project-the design, construction and operation of photography channel for HESRN, provides a community and platform for all those teachers and students who have passion for photography. This platform follows the booming internet development in China, provides one entertainment community for Henan education system and leads the practical application of multimedia in various fields. With this platform, those photography enthusiasts can inspire social responsibility, love and public credibility among common internet users.This research project applies software engineering's design philosophy and comprehensively analyse, research and explain the user needs, framework and details design, user interface and database design. The system is based on three levels B/S(Browser/Server) structure and applies ASP.NET and Web database to realize photography channel's various functions. This research explored main areas as following:<1>Research comprehensively analyzes photography channel's design capacity target, primarily explains and discusses function and module design. Research begins the design from infrastructure framework and clearly designed the functional module.<2>Research designs photography channel's user interface and streamlines back stage database based on actual function requirements. Research provides detailed design for all pages and interface for both front and back end.<3>Research utilizes Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 as development tool and SQL Server 2005 as Web database design tool and comprehensively explains photography channel's actual technology application. Coding is strictly based on three levels B/S (Browser/Server) structure.<4>The platform provides photography channel with main function of image uploading, personal album storage space registration, image comment, back stage dynamic control and the website comes with real time update, improves interactivity and realizes multi-level, multi-function and multi-form internet community and platform.
