Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)is composed by a large number of low cost, small volume, with perception, calculation and wireless communication ability of sensor nodes. It has a broad prospect of application in the military, the safety, environmental monitoring, medical health fields.However, due to the wireless sensor network node's energy limited, positioning difficulties, deploy environments, so it makes the"node choice"problem is different from the traditional wireless network in the simple routing node chooses mechanism. Wireless sensor network coverage control commonly is based on duality apperceiving model which makes nodes dormancy. Therefore, it has an important significance to study the node scheduling and coverage control algorithm.Firstly, this paper simply introduced the WSN concept,its feature,present study at home and abroad,architecture and the key technology and so on. Then it discusses the existing wireless sensor network node scheduling and cover algorithm and points out the limitation of the algorithm respectively. It also introduces the WSN network model and coverage model and the current of nodes deployed method.Secondly, the main content of this paper are as follows: (1) This paper improves the existing probability attenuation model, and divides the monitoring area into three-dimensional grid; (2) In view of redundant nodes dormancy algorithm excessive dependence on the neighbor nodes information, aiming at the limitations, this paper puts forward a kind of redundant nodes dormancy algorithms global based on 3d coverage control; (3) The existing of nodes awakening algorithm has unequal energy imbalance problem. Therefore, this paper proposes a kind of phase node awakening algorithm in order to achieve the same coverage using less nodes.The simulation results demonstrate that this method equilibrium the node's energy, realizing the maximum effectiveness of the network energy and extending the network lifetime.
