New Push Service Based On Mobile Phone

Currently, the convenience and hommization of the push service are more and more praise highly by the general public. Mobile phones as a personalized tool, are also used in push services. With the rapid development of information technology, the development of WEB2.0 and the emergence of Library2.0, the traditional library has no longer adapt to the rhythm of modern society, the library is undergoing tremendous changes. The prevalence of Push Mail has brought revolution to the information Push Service.As a communication device, cell phones provided a powerful platform for the individual services of the libraries for their portability, mobility, immediacy, efficiency and privacy, which make cell phone a carrier of the information push service in library.With the development of web and information techniques, the push service related techniques have been greatly improved. As librarians, we need to improve our ideas of services continuously, and serve the people from the readers'point of view. With the new techniques and new ideas, we can improve our services continuously and deliver the needed information to the clients precisely and on time, no matter when and no matter where. Given the current information environment, we mainly discussed the utilization and development of the individual push services, explained the advantages of the cell phones as platform, took the Forth Military Medical University library as an example, took the'shangmail'as a third part software, and proposed the system and development mode of push services from the readers'point of view in this paper. We built up the platform that connecting the readers and the librarians fully developed and utilized the literature resources, and finally implement the individual push service. In this paper, the utilization of the new platform used in push services was studied, the traditional push services was contrasted with the new kind of push service, the advantage of the cell phone as the new platform was analyzed, and the method of the application was given in detail. In this way, the usage of library as literature information center was developed, the demands of different customers were satisfied, and the information resources of library were fully utilized.
