Secondary Since our academy accepted the task of designation and development of the driving simulation systems for self-propelled equipment, we have developed several kinds. Nowadays, these systems have been widely used in our army, but there are still a few gaps between simulation training and hand-on. The main reasons exits in some factors: equipment elements, road etc.This paper which explores the dynamics simulation model of steering of Medium-sized general chassis that is an important part of this system, aimed at improving driver training simulation system fidelity.Connected with the work principle of Medium-sized chassis, the performance parameters and the factors that affect the performance, this paper focus on the analysis of the situation of the force when steering. According to the changes of vertical burthen and instantaneous central offset when steering, this paper dynamically calculated the quadrature of resistance of steering. Finally, using of mathematics and mechanics in space vector analysis, we creat the simulation model of dynamic of steering, which includes the steering of a level surface, vertical slope, transverse slope and downgrade steering in reverse. And using above simulation mode,we do some example simulations at the special type equipment self-propelled howitzer. Then we come to the simulation results in some cases.
