Research On Developing Of Management Information System For Electric Power Survey & Design Project

With the rapid development of grid construction in China, the information management on the survey and design in power industry becomes increasingly important. However, across the country, the number of the units, which have better information management system on project is still very small, mainly because of the complexity of the project design, the strong flexible design ,the rapid schedule requirements and many variables, particularly the design process management and e-review technology for a variety of specific issues, which often cannot be put into practical application, the information management on the survey and design in power industry has been the lack of scientific and effective developing research.Firstly, on the basis of the basic theory of information management systems, project management, information management systems on project, this paper lays a solid theoretical foundation for the information management system developing of Tangshan Electric Power Survey and Design Institute; Secondly, taking Tangshan Electric Power Survey and Design Institute as an example, the paper describes the organizational structure, personnel structure and qualifications, etc. and discusses the pressures on internal management and external environment of the Institute. The information management system for project is analyzed. The overall object, functional requirements and security needs of the information management system for project are described. Thirdly, design principles are illustrated in detail based on system analysis. According to system analysis and certain principles, the overall structure, database and subsystems of the information system are designed; Finally, organization measures, management rules, personnel training and capital investment and so on are proposed to ensure the normal operation and maintenance of the information management information system.Project management is the core business processes of power investigation and design industry. How to improve project management and management efficiency is an important task in electric power survey and design industry. Taking Tangshan Electric Power Survey and Design Institute as an example, this paper discusses the system analysis, design and implementation, which is of great practical significance to the development of information management system in electric power survey and design industry.
