The Research And Design Of The Integrable-ware Teaching System Based On The Ontology Technology

The integrable-ware teaching system overcomes the drawbacks of teaching ideas fixed in the traditional courseware model, which has a high degree of flexibility and reorganization; it not only has the advantages of the traditional courseware such as"visual, image", but also incorporates the advantages of a"blackboard"teaching mode such as"flexible, free, and easy to expand".It is a"building block"teaching by constant (integrable-ware) to changing (teaching practice), adequately reflects the educational thought of"human is subject".However, a large number of multi-format integrable-ware materials are stored in the material library, and in the management of traditional material library, the material is independent for each other, and the semantic relationships between the materials has not been established, which leads to the unsatisfactory search results, so organization and retrieval of material library is always one of the key problems which have to be solved in the integrable-ware teaching system.Ontology is the theory of applying the basic method of application ontology and abstracting entities in the real world as a set of relationships between concepts through concept analysis and modeling. Ontology has good concept hierarchy structure and the ability to support logical reasoning. Therefore, ontology technology can provide the bases of the knowledge preferably for the semantic search of material library in the integrable-ware teaching system.The paper first outlines the theory of integrable and the origin and the framework of the integrable-ware teaching system, and then introduces the concepts and research conditions of ontology, and focus on describing the construction method and the role of ontology. Next, referencing to a number of international successful construction experiences in ontology engineering, the author used the tools of ontology construction and constructed a small body of material library, and effectively improve the quality and efficiency of the material library search,achieving the search of material library based on ontology. On this basis, the paper develop a small body of the integrable-ware teaching system,achieving some functions, such as the management of material ,the search of material, generation of integrable-ware couseware, maintenance of integrable-ware couseware ,management of user and so on.The paper has a preliminary study for the system design and key technologies, focusing on the application of ontology using in the integrable-ware teaching system,expecting to provide an effective way to construct the material library and achieve effective retrieval of the integrable-ware material library. There are still many key issues to be resolved,especially,how to find a more universal methodology to guid the constructiong of ontology database is the direction of my paper's key work in the future.
