Wireless Location System, which integrates the technologies of wireless communication, local network, embedded system and sensor, is a hotspot of information technology. It will make a profound influence on many areas in our daily life. The wireless Location System can be real-time acquiring and processing the location information of different object, which has very broad prospects. It is an emerging hotspot and has been concerned on all over the world.Wireless location node is the basic unit of wireless locomotive intelligent location system. It mainly consists of the microcontroller module, wireless radio frequency module, power management module. Firstly, data is collected by the wireless radio frequency module, and then the microcontroller module compute the necessary data, finally the location data is transmitted through the wireless radio frequency module to the computer. In the process of the wireless location node, power management module plays the important role of supplying power to the location node and extending the life of location node. Wireless location node has very limited hardware resources, mainly limited communicating capability, computing and processing power. When we design the location node, it is necessary for us to take into account of the above problems.Based on the analysis of classic location system of the existing location node, we designed a kind of wireless location node in accordance with the requirements of locomotive location system. We adopted module design of an integrated wireless radio frequency chip and microcontroller chip. Ultimately, we chose ATmega644v chip as a microcontroller and a chip of NA5TR1 integrated ranging module, a signal amplifier chipĪ¼PG2250T5N. Location node main circuits consist of the peripheral circuits of NA5TR1 and ATmega644v, signal amplifier circuit and several interface circuit. At the same time, we also analyzed the field environment and designed a interface to the computer based on ch341. We considered the possible impact of the interference to the location node and gave the corresponding solutions.In accordance with wireless locomotive location system, we implement the function of wireless locomotive location node. According to test the wireless location node, the results showed that the design of the wireless location node could meet the application requirements.
