Using battery-powered LD driver as the research subject, this paper has explored in the programs of the realizing the high-efficient driver and technical solutions from the two aspects which are DC-DC converter and constant current circuit. Through the analysis, comparison of several main driver circuit topology, we have determined the basic topology types of the DC/DC converter and constant current circuit according to the load characteristics of the high-power LD; have analyses the loss mechanism of DC/DC converter and constant current circuit, then Identified the main loss point; have structured the DC/DC circuit of the non-isolated buck, performed high and low side MOSFET low-loss technology with Synchronous Rectification and Improved DC/DC conversion efficiency; have proposed a new type of zero-voltage soft-switching technology with additional resonant network, which can significantly reduce the rectifier MOSFET body diode loss then can improve DC/DC conversion efficiency; have treated the benchmark for secondary to the bandgap reference output to improve the reference voltage stability. So it can reduce the current sampling resistor effectively,reduce the sample loss significantly and improve the power supply efficiency of the constant current circuit. We also have researched the loss mechanism of the power MSFET in the constant current circuit, and established the screening device principle mainly based on a dynamic on-resistance (RDS).In a word, we have designed a type of Non-isolated, buck, high-efficiency LD driver.
