To ensure the high-fidelity and high speed large data transmission of signales in long-distance communication. Space optical communication technology requires that modulated signal must have characteristics of high power and high-speed.This makes high-power, high-speed modulation technology as the key to solving this problem.In this paper, I have researched on the issue of the the automatic control of electro-optic modulator's DC bias,the electro-optic modulator used to modulate the laser.The semiconductor lasers could send the constant power laser. Improved the technology of automatic control to DC bias.The technology is focused on the electro-optic modulator.Design the Fuzzy PID controller base on the FPGA and Matlab to achieve a stable DC bias control. Solve the problem that due to the effect of outside temperature and high-frequency dielectric heating to the signal and other factors,it will bring about the half-wave voltage drift problem of the impact of modulation effects.Through the simulation and experimental methods verify the feasibility of the design. Provides a new research path to improve electro-optic modulator DC bias level of automatic control technology.
