This paper studies the projection of structured light based on multi-dimensional reconstruction techniques. We use multiple projectors and cameras for image acquisition, and obtain the information of encoded structured light which exposes to the measured object in different positions, and then decode the image of the structured light. According to the principle of triangulation, we reconstruct the three-dimensional information of the object in different locations and do three-dimensional surface integration based on the overlapping area in the three-dimensional information, and ultimately reconstruct a closure-type three-dimensional model of the measured object.Because three-dimensional splicing needs more accurate three-dimensional information of the reconstructed object, we first study the calibration of the camera, and reduce or eliminate the errors caused by camera's internal and external factors. To further improve the definition and accuracy of three-dimensional splicing, we will introduce a localize method by using mark points which affixes some labels on the measured object as featured points information, and greatly facilitates the identification and testing for the overlapping areas of different modules. As for the three-dimensional reconstruction of the measured object, we encode the measured object based on the colorful structured light image which in the form of grid. Compared with the traditional black and white structured light, such colorful structured light has quick encoding speed and high precision for the measured object, which facilitates the real-time collection of the object.During the splicing, because there exists rigid running when collects the object, we need to convert the three-dimensional information of different modules to the same coordinate system according the matched feature points and the corresponding translation transformation matrix and the rotation transformation matrix. But in the process of splicing, some problems will occur, such as, overlapping, smooth and compensation. This paper will give appropriate methods for solving different problems.According to the experiment results, the theory established over the research in this paper based on the three-dimensional reconstruction techniques, has high precision reconstruction model, and the splicing model formed ultimately has high combined degrees, which can meets necessary requirements of the industry.
