Currently, with the extensive use of various wireless communication technology, the limited spectrum resources are becoming more and more tense; on the other hand, the large amount of spectrum resources are not fully utilized. In order to alleviate the conflict of the lack of spectrum resources and low utilization of the spectrum resources, a variety methods of sharing dynamic spectrum technology are raised out, and the most eye-catching technology is cognitive radio which is the key technology that can significantly improve the utilization of wireless spectrum, realizing access of dynamic spectrum. This paper focuses on the power control research which is the key technology in cognitive radio, and the mainly work as follows:Firstly, the overview of the development of cognitive radio and its key technology are introduced at the beginning of this paper, meanwhile the basic principles of game theory and power control game model are described and analyzed. And analysis of cognitive radio power control algorithm based on the non-cooperative game theory model are focused on, and a new effective cost function based on the non-cooperative power control game is designed out. The simulation results show that the new game model improves the performance of the original model in utility function and transmit power.Secondly, the genetic algorithm is applied in the cognitive radio power control.Genetic algorithm is a stochastic global search algorithm, search of its target space randomly and search for the best individual groups by the way of the global optimization of parallel search methods. With the help of the strong search ability of genetic algorithms, the most appropriate transmission power of cognitive users are searched out.We compare the genetic algorithm and the NPGP algorithm in transmit power ,the utility function and other aspects in simulation.Finally, we apply quantum genetic algorithm in the power control of cognitive radio and acquired suitable transmit power of cognitive user. The simulation results show that genetic algorithm and quantum genetic algorithm have an advantage on cognitive user's transmission power control and the user's utility.
