Research And Application Of Commercial Workflow Engine

In order to solve the trouble of diversity and poor compatibility of workflow engine products, the paper introduces basic concepts of workflow, workflow management system and workflow engine, as well as domestic and international research present condition. On the base of WfMC reference model and standard architecture, the function of the workflow management system, it puts forward Comframe workflow engine which designed specifically for tele- communications industry in order to improve overall performance of telecommunication system.It introduces mostly the main content of the research—Comframe workflow engine including the concepts of the basic elements, the function of the key package and the class in common use, and main configuration of Comframe which are studied in depth and analyzed specifically.
