Reconstructed From The Front Of The Microblogging Web Front-end Development Under The New Situation

Sina Weibo system now is under increasing pressure with rising numbers of users and Tweets. At the same time, the part of front-end is playing an very important role as it directly face to the web user. With the growing number of develop projects, team members, climbing stress of server and booming web front-end development, Problems in the architecture and code of Weibo front-end are beginning to show through. A refactoring for the Weibo front-end part is of great importance.In order to make refactoring work effective and reasonable, our front-end engineer, in this new situation, need good understanding of various web develop technology, which may even concern performance optimization of web site, SEO(Search Engine Optimization) and server technology. In addition, they also need to know the theory for development, including maintainability of code, accessible component, semantic template and browser classification, etc.Due to the short-time development of the web front-end which is not mature yet, some part of this system just like standards and research on best practice are all in exploration phase at present.This paper is about the project for refactoring Sina Weibo front-end part, that is my major work as a web front-end architects in Sina. Besides constantly deepening the research about building a maintainable code, I am finishing the work about optimization of standards and workflow, shaping teamwork to pattern, improving code quality, researching and practicing new technology, etc. That will make Weibo product more stable and better user experiences.
