Study On Web Application Development Framework For Agile Development

With the rapid development of (mobile) Internet applications, the number of applications is growing rapidly, which leads to the intense competition in web applications. In order to get advantage in the competition, developers need to reduce the cost in application development. The emergence of agile development is well-suited for the requirements of web application development. In order to support agile development more effectively and to reduce the cost in each iteration, it is important to select an appropriate application development framework.In general, an application development framework contains two parts, the project process framework and the technical framework. The project process framework defines the tasks that need to be done at each stage of the application development process, as well as the interfaces between the various stages; the technical framework is a reusable technology framework used to support a specific type of application development. In this paper, a web application development framework is put forward for the requirements of agile development and web application development scenarios. On one hand, the agile project process framework for web application development is specified; on the other hand, the technical framework, including web front-end framework and web back-end framework, is designed and implemented. Using this web application development framework could effectively improve the efficiency of web application development.In this paper, the background, the study status and the significance of the project are introduced. Then the principles and the common methods of agile development are illustrated, as well as the knowledge of web development technologies, including popular web development frameworks for both the front-end and the back-end. Furthermore, the web application development framework is brought forward from two aspects, the project process framework and the technical framework. While introducing the project process framework, the thought of agile development is widely adopted to define the actions of each stage in the development process as well as the interfaces between stages. While introducing the technical framework, both the front-end and the back-end technical framework are involved. The front-end technical framework includes the design and implementation of CSS styles, plug-ins and page layout. And the back-end technical framework includes the design and implementation of basic service components and templates. In the end, an example of web application development using the web application development framework brought forward in this paper is introduced to verify the effectiveness of the framework.
