From the 90s of last century, high intensity focused ultrasound has been rapid development in clinical applications, Gradually for a variety of benign and malignant solid tumors effective means of treatment is becoming an effective non-invasive method of Cancer treatment. As non-invasive treatment techniques, HIFU treatments need to monitor effectively. HIFU therapy currently in clinical monitoring system the most widely used two-dimensional ultrasound imaging system. Because therapeutic ultrasound and monitor ultrasonic can not run simultaneously. Course of treatment often need to compare images before and after irradiation to test the efficacy of ultrasound. In Clinical, We found in the chest and abdomen by the respiration of such a large part of cancer treatment in respiratory organs and the body caused by motion of tumor motion on contrast ultrasound images before and after irradiation caused a greater disturbance.In this background, this paper put forward to use of respiratory gating technology to synchronize HIFU treatment image acquisition. Respiratory gating is the technology according to the respiratory signal to set the appropriate threshold, and treatment in a specific period of time to reduce the method of respiratory motion. Respiratory gating technology is widely used in medical imaging and non-invasive treatment technologies. This paper studies the respiratory gating technology research at home and abroad. Based on this to established the respiratory gating technology used in this study. Then, research the respiratory signal detection method used commonly in respiratory gating technology. Based on this, put forwards a new respiratory signal detection method. Finally, integrate the respiratory signal detection module and HIFU treatment system.The innovation of this research is put forward a new method of respiratory signal detection, then develop the module. The method put forward in this paper is based on the principle of camera detection. Combine the principle of camera detection and Image Processing Technology to design a Non-invasive Respiratory signal detection method. The method is easy to implement, high accuracy, stability.This paper discusses the detail of the respiratory signal detection module design, and then discusses the Process of sync image capture with HIFU therapy equipment. The last part of this paper discussed the preliminary experimental results of sync image capture, then, gives the brief analysis use digital image processing.
