Abstract/Summary:
Ultra wideband (UWB) technology has very low transmission power (only lmV) and high transmission rate. It has been recognized as one of the solutions to the next generation short-distance (1-100m) wireless communications and wireless personal area networks.IEEE802.15.4a contains three different models:an ultrawideband (UWB) model, spanning the frequency range from 2 to 10 GHz. Models for any narrowband system within that frequency range can be derived by a simple bandpass filtering operation.an ultrawideband model for the frequency range from 100-1000 MHz. Again, narrowband systems located within that frequency range can obtain their specific model by filtering.a narrowband model for the frequency range around 1 MHz.This paper is base on the nation project "New General Wideband Wireless mobile Communication Network" 2009ZX03006-009 "Technology Specification and Performance Evaluating of UWB Device".The core content of this paper is mainly including the following aspects:1. Research on wireless communication channel transmission models:To research on the transmission principles of wireless communication channel, the related parameters of channel modals and UWB channel models and measurement conditions based on IEEE802.15.4a.2. Research on UWB channel measurement technologies and the related instruments:Based on the requirements of transmission models and measurement parameters, analysis two measurement technologies from different aspects. Select one measurement technology to apply to the real testing.3. Design the measurement plan and set up the measurement environment: Based on the selected measurement technology, design and execute the measurement plan, collect the data for the further research.
