In recent years, with extensive use of Internet, more and more people directly watch video online. The Internet access speed has become an important factor for a user to choose video service providers. Currently, in order to ensure service quality, web site operators of video have to spend a lot of money to increase the export bandwidth, thereby increasing the operation cost. To solve this issue, this thesis designs a reasonable video system with content delivery network, to reduce costs and improve service quality of video. Content Delivery Network (CDN) is available via adding a new layer in the existing network architecture of Internet. The CDN-based network video system is a strategic deployment system, which posts network video to the nearest network "edge" of users. Thus, users can obtain required content from the nearest node, thereby to solve the situation of network congestion. The system design provides a complete solution of CDN-cored network video operation, including technical analysis, system analysis, system design and test. Besides, in allusion to algorithm, influence and practical applications of two core technologies of content delivery and load balancing, there is related analysis and discussion in the thesis.
