The credit card business is one of the important works of bank business. With the increasing amount of cards issued recent years, credit card brings huge profits to the bank, but it also creates a great risk. How to manage and control the risk of credit card effectively has become the focus of issuing bank. Credit card risk monitoring system is an important part of the system of bank credit risk management, which depends on credit card transaction data from the core system of bank. In the monitoring system, monitoring strategies based on rule technology is applied to detect risk. To meet the rapid development of the credit card business as well as changes in the external risk environment, credit risk monitoring rules have to possess a complicated feature and be adjusted frequently. In addition, credit card business is relatively new, so the risk monitoring itself is continually explored by the bank, and the monitoring processes in the system is also need to be adjusted with the development of business.To solve the problems of the credit card risk monitoring system at present, this essence introduced the J2EE framework and rule engine technology. J2EE application, with the feature of performance stability, good openness and strict security control, is very suitable for the framework of bank information system. Business logic is processed by rule engine as structured objects, and this makes the complicated business logic into simple business rules. The complicated logic relation within the business rules is sent to be processed by rule engine. It has changed the procedure of dealing with the business logic, and can extract the implementation of business rules from specific procedure code.Firstly, to analyse business needs of the credit card risk monitoring system, the essence pointed out the shortage of traditional monitoring system architecture in the field of credit card risk monitoring, the essence gave a new solution for credit card risk monitoring system based on rule engine and J2EE framework.Secondly, the essence gave the analysis and design of the overall logic architecture of the system, and provided the detailed design and implementation. And it also discussed the form of display of facts and rules. On the base of the research of the working theory of rule engine, it created the knowledge base of risk monitoring with Drools. The essence described how to use Struts+Spring+ iBatis lightweight J2EE framework for the integration of system functions in detail, and gave concrete realization of the system layers.Finally, the essence made a summary and outlook of the credit card risk monitoring system based on the rule engine and J2EE framework. The introduction of the rule engine and J2EE framework can make monitoring system have the characteristics of reliability, maintainability and modifiability, better adapt to the complexity and variability of monitoring rules, and effectively improve the capacity to timely detection, response and procession in the work of credit card risk monitoring, thereby minimize the risk of bank losses caused by the credit card. In the future, to improve further flexibility of the system, the rule engine can also be introduced to the fields of authority control, task classification, etc. in monitoring process.
