| This study mainly applies to literature study, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics methods,interviews, and logical analysis method. According to the need of study nature,the professional basketballteachers of all the Normal Universities in Henan Province (Henan Normal University, Xinyang NormalUniversity, Anyang NormalUniversity, Luoyang Normal University, Nanyang Normal University, ShangqiuNormal University and Zhoukou Normal University) are taken as the object of study. Deep investigationand research is done from the aspect of age,gender, education, job title, seniority, school edge knot,teachingwork, the level of research capability, participanting in continuous education status and thepsychology of teachers, which tries to research the specific situation in order to identify the main problems,analyze the problem and put forward relevant countermeasures and resolution of recommendations.Studies have shown that:(1)The number of Professional basketball teachers in Normal University inHenan province is relatively small and the proportion of male and female teachers is not balanced. Thestudents and teachers is seriously out of proportion, which surpasses the regulated proportion of the country.Teachers' title structure is irrational. The students resource is simple and obvious phenomenon of'inbreeding'.(2) teachers' teaching workload is too large and unevenly distributed. The young teacher isburdened with large amount of classes while professor is with much less lessons. Basketball venue,equipment and facilities is sufficient. The overall level of teaching and training and quality is generallysatisfactory with high professional dedication. But it still needs to continuously be improved.(3teachers'research activity is not high and is single. Teachers' research motivation is from himself or herself. There isa lack of understanding and love.(4) teachers' acceptance of continuing education is not be optimistic. Theopportunities for teachers to participate in post-training are not balanced, the times is quite less and thetraining content is relatively homogeneous. The training motivation is narrow and teachers' consciousnessis not high. The input out the school is not enough and it lacks reasonable guidance.(5) the social influenceof the teachers is low and the social part-time staff is less. The government and schools is weak in guidance.(6) the psychological status of teachers is more stable and generally the enthusiasm for work is quite high.Most teachers do not intend to change their work and they are in good condition. Generally, they areoptimistic about their future job. But they are not satisfied with the current treatment and livingconditions. The working conditions and social status should be further improved. According to the above mentioned problems and the related situation of Normal University in HenanProvince, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions:(1) to strengthen the rationalization ofbasic structure of personnel introduction and to absorb high-level and high-quality personnel.(2) toimprove the teaching environment and to apply to modern teaching methods.(3) to increase capitalinvestment, to improve the research incentives and to upright the teachers' research motivation.(4) toincrease the continuing education of basketball teachers and to enhance our overall quality level (5) toguide the teachers' connection of special ability and social practice, to carry out their talent, to improve thesocial image and to get access to part-time training opportunities.(6) to improve the treatment of physicaleducation teachers, to strengthen ideological and political work education, to ease the pressure on teachers'work and to stablilize basketball teacher team.This paper did above reaserch on the basic situation of professional basketball teachers of NormalUniversity in Henan Province. It is hoped that the conclusion and suggestion of this paper will be ofreferrence value for the rapid and healthy development of Higher Education Cause in Henan Province. |
