This point out the new subject for the development and use of sport gymresources. China is the largest population country and the gyms can’t meet people’srequirements. So it will be the most important way to develop and use current sport gymresources in order to solve the problem of lack of gyms. Since pilot work began in August2006, the gradual progress of the school sports venues open to the public have achieved goodresults, but as people’s growing demand for sports fitness, sports facilities, supply is still oneof the main contradictions in the development of mass sports. Under existing conditions,education and sports departments work together, is to solve the contradiction of pragmatic. Asthe important part,the gym stadium has transformed from the single and closed managementpattern to multiple and open one to adapt to the need for the socialist market economy andmeet the social demand, thus making its way to development of socialist service of collegegym stadiums in a positive way to gain mutual benefits of society and economy. Therefore,under the background, it is of great significance and academic value to study the actuality andfactors affecting the utility of gym stadiums in eight normal universities Of Henan Province.This paper takes the current situation of college gym resources of Henan Province asresearch objects and the way of documents research,investigation,statistics and logistics tostudy the development situation of college gym resources of Henan Province, including theresources devision,social benefits and economic benefits.Theoretically,thepaper has analyzedthe factors influencing the development of college gym resources and do some research aboutsome colleges which has opened their gyms to the public in charge. Also it analyzed somecolleges which have done this aspects well. We got some experience from this and have founda valuable way to develop college gym resources reasonably.
