Adolescent informal groups exist in human society, education and it is an unavoidable object of education. It plays an irreplaceable role on young people's thought, behavior, the establishment of values and socialization. Therefore, in the present teaching work, educators should correctly understand and treat the informal groups of students, but also attach importance to adolescent informal groups on its social role. But in today's education, because of the awareness of its degree is also insufficient, people always see its negative effect, focused on the management of negative informal groups. Especially its social positive effects on the members have not been given sufficient attention. Compared with the school formal groups, informal groups is existence of a kind of recessive culture form, but this kind of influence plays a very important role on the student's socialization. In order to guide the young people to finish the process of socialization, the teacher must have a correct understanding of the informal group of the positive role, tap its potential strength fully, and be patient for those negative informal groups. How to develop the positive factors of the informal groups in the socialization, and to enable young people to complete the socialization successfully, is an unavoidable problem to every educator.This paper is divided into three parts. Firstly, we make the definition such as informal groups and socialization of adolescent, on the basis of analysis of the presence of the necessity and inevitability of the adolescent informal groups, we elaborated the informal group is the real social places of the members.Secondly, through the analysis of adolescent informal group types, characteristics and causes, points out the informal group is the important mechanism of Juvenile Socialization; on this basis from the social perspective, we analysis the two effects of informal group on the youth members of the positive and negative.Finally, in order to develop the social function of the informal groups, educators should understand and respect the informal groups, in the actualteaching work, we should guide the young people of informal groupscorrectly,promote its social function.
