| The ministry of education has issued "21st century education revitalization plan" in 1999, which proposed to raise the rate of entrance universities to 15%. The expandance of universities has made the popular education replaced the elite education. But it also brings some troubles, such as the informal groups. As one way for students to be self-protection and rejec anothers who he does not like, the informal groups is mainly divided by regions.Now the issue is based on the survey and research, analyze the characteristics and existing environment of informal groups, and make the regional bond groups as example. I use the research achievements and the related knowledges about the issue to analyze the group's mental conditions, influences in colleges, causes, objects. The goal is to provide the theoretical basis and guidance for the ideological and political education works in universities, and finally strengthen the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The issue is divided into three parts. First I analyzed the cause the status of the informal groups. Except the macro policy aspects such as the expandance of the college entrance examination, personal psychological factors and chinese specific cultural background also do some influence. As the informal groups have their own characteristics and play a very important role in the university, it is necessary to do the ideological and political education.The second part is based on the theory research about the informal groups. I explore how the existence of the informal groups to influence the university. Through the dialectical analysis we lay a solide foudation and establish a goal for the ideological and political education.Last but not least, with the base of the research and analysis of the informal groups, combined with the development of ideological and political education, we should pick the correct ways to set the suitble target, and then guide the students to develop themselves within the feet of the university.
