On The All-round Development Of Human Beings From The Perspective Of Modern Consumption

Consumption has become a major way for human existence and development. As the development of productive forces, the production efficiency has been improved a lot and people's consuming idea has been changed because of tremendous material enrichment. As the external manifestation of consuming idea, people's consuming behavior and consuming pattern present different characters in different period of prolificacy development, all of above affect the all-round development of human beings.Stand on Marx's theory of consumption, this paper try to analyze the impact from consumption on the all-round development of human beings by the consuming phenomenon. Firstly, this paper outlines the implication of consuming idea, consuming behavior and consuming pattern, and clarifies the relationship between consuming behavior and consuming pattern, then we can known people's consuming idea plays an active role in the development of society. Therefore, establishing a scientific consumption view alone can promote individual healthy development and social normal operation. Secondly, this paper illuminates Marx's theory of consumption and spare time, and discusses the impact from production and consumption on man's spare time. Thirdly, this paper elucidates the relationship between man's spare time and the all-round development of human beings, while allocating and making use of spare time rational is of prime importance for the all-round development of human beings. Finally, the paper delineates the role and significance of modern consumption in achieving the all-round development of human beings. Learning from Western Marxist's theory of alienated consumption and Marx's theory of consumption, this paper analyzes the alienated phenomenon of consumption and the problem which caused, and concludes that only do we establish a scientific consumption view, the alienated consumption can be overcome.
