This article is about a case work in Chronic Diseases Patient. Domestic research of medical social work for all types of patients in the study had some development, but in view of long-term illness medical social work is nearly blank. In this paper the author in Wuhan General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Region medical social work practice encountered in the case as an example, for the long illness patients conducted a case study. Ellis'ABC theory as the instruction in the course of the study, according to the rational emotive therapy mode client service. Understanding the case of background information, a main problems for diagnosis and analysis and make corresponding service plan, carrying out treatment and services, the case analysis and evaluation, and the study case intervention of reflection, recommendations, prospect of medical social work in China's development in the future.
