In the context of creating a conservation-oriented society, yet we still encountered waste issues in the society. Following the waste issues, there results many consequences which let mankind have to reflect the status of "lack of thrifts,". Moreover the schools have begun turning to "thrift education". However the research on"thrift education"is not penetrating deeply, especially the research on pupils'thrift education. Based on the characteristics of pupils'age and the shift of current life of moral education in schools, it has a conservation significance to investigate pupils'thrift education from the perspective of thrift behavior training.This research chooses three primary schools in Nantong as the objects. Through literature research method, the author explores the thrift ideas and the theoretical background of thrift education. By means of questionnaires, the author investigates the current situation of pupils'thrift behavior and the status of thrift education in primary school. By way of interview, the author finds out many problems on school thrift education. On the basis of the research, the author further analysis the causes of pupils'thrift behavior, and then proposes training of pupils'thrift behavior in the classroom, extra-curricular and home-school.The first part of this paper is introduction, which explores the background of the research, analysis the thrift ideas at home and abroad, Combines and reflects the research achievements about thtift education, and then the author explains related Concepts. It is theoretical groundwork for the research on school training of pupils'thrift behavior. The second part mainly talks about the investigation and analysis of pupils'thrifts behavior. From the view of students, the author points out the reality of pupils'thrift behavior. Through teachers, the author finds out the training situation of thrift behavior in primary school. And on this basis, the author analyzes the causes of pupils'thrift behavior. The third part is class training on thrift behavior of students. Investigating the principles of classroom training on pupils'thrift behavior, the author proposes the three combine methods. They are combined with moral lessons, combined with subject teaching, and combined with class meeting. In the forth part the author analyzes the extra-curricular training on pupils'thrift behavior. Investigating the principle of extra-curricular training on pupils'thrift behavior, the author advances the extra-curricular training methods from Internal and external school. The fifth part mainly talks the home-school training. Exploring the effective principles of home-school, and on this basis, the author advances the concrete methods of home-school.
