Study On Contemporary Chinese College Ethic Education Problems And Strategies

The word "University" presents a noble, immaculate and idealistic "ivory tower". However, after several years of increase enrollment, today's college campuse is no longer a pure land. The people in colleges including educators, learners and managers often been so seriously accused of the derelication of duty, that the entire college education is being subjected to unusual criticism. If we consider this phenomenon as an "ethic crisis" in college, then in order to effectively reponse to this crisis, we should start from practice, research into the ethic connotation behind this phenomenon, and then find solutions to this problem.This paper getting along with the thread, first of all, analyses the concept of college ethic education, establishes standard for people in college such as educators, learners and managers. Referring to the current reality, with the analysis of typical examples, make a clear understanding of the gap between ideality and reality, so that the situation will ultimately be improved in a targeted manner.In this paper, the reason for ethic problems on Chinese college education would, on the one hand, trace back to the cognitive tradition about educational "tool" function, on the other hand, relate to the expansion of higher education and the functional transition. In additon, from the overall society, the full impact of "commercialization" on college education could not be ignored.In order to effectively deal with current problems, this paper proposes to start from a number of interrelated aspects to improve education in college, to run a school with "people-oriented" value orientation, to set "harmonious development" ethic objectives, to reconstruct scientific and rational ethic education, as well as to put the focus on the reform of the education management system and so on.
