On Problems And Strategies In Party Building In Privately-run Colleges In Hunan

This essay employs research methods such as investigation, literature review, interviews, statistics and logical inference to carry out a thorough study on Party building in eleven privately-run colleges in Hunan Province, studying the current situation of Party building of Hunan's privately-run colleges and proposing appropriate countermeasures.The essay consists of four parts:introduction, current situation of Party building in privately-run colleges in Hunan province and its causing factors, and the way to improve and strengthen Party building in privately-run colleges.Firstly, the introduction explains the background, significance, current situation, study object and methods of the present research.The second part designs a survey on the current situation of Party building in Hunan's privately-run colleges, four levels of survey objects focused to analyze and evaluate the Party building in Hunan's privately-run colleges. We employ the action research method to study the practice of Party building in privately-run colleges. Following the thoughts and methods, standardized and normalized management will be put forward, requiring to frequently review the practice and check the process, and offering a new mechanism and model for Party building in colleges.Thirdly, the essay reviews the current situation of Party building in Hunan's privately-run colleges. On the one hand, the privately-run colleges in Hunan have made some outstanding achievements in Party building, thanks to the supportive policy and the specified and rising status of Party building work. More Party organizations have been established, the activities of the Party organizations have become regular, and the political central role of the Part organization and the supervision according to law have been effective. On the other hand, problems arise due to the late foundation of the college and the late starting of the Party building. To some extent, the organization construction has been simplified, the system construction has been vulnerable, the ideological construction has been cosmetic and the work-style construction has been formalistic. The causing factors lie in the unspecified status of Party building in privately-run colleges, the imperfection of the system, the lack of a ready-made model, and inadequate professional competence in Party work. Therefore, how to carry forward the Party building according to the development requirements of Privately-run colleges has becomes a great task in strengthening the building of grass-roots Party organizations under the new historical conditions.Lastly, this study proposes the following strategies for improving and strengthening Party building in privately-run colleges:to understand the role of Party organization in privately-run colleges, to perfect the leadership system of Party committee's participation in decision, management and organization, to explore a new model for Party building in privately-run colleges, and to implement in real earnest the policy of "Party members under the Party committee's supervision", strengthening the building and the management of grass-roots Party organizations.
