The minister of education,Yuan Guiren, had indicated in the Annual Work Conference of Vocational and Adult Education in 2011 that the Achilles' heel in the development of vocational education in our country currently was the cooperation between School and Enterprises. That is to say how to strive to develop the school-enterprise cooperation is the key point of the reformation and breakthrough of the secondary vocational education. At the same time, the ways to solve the problem such as integrating the resources of both enterprises and schools, achieving work-integrated learning, working-schooling alternation and a variety of innovated educational modes have becoming the common concern in both educational and industrial circles in China.The paper has done some research and exploration from the following aspects on the school-enterprise cooperation in the field of secondary vocational education. First, discussing the intension of school-enterprise cooperation on the views of academic research, analysing the current situation of it in China and learning from the advanced experience of foreign countries. Second, studying the problem further from different angles such as the ones of enterprises, schools and the government. Third, more and more enterprises are found unwilling in school-enterprise cooperation. The main causes may be the conflicts between goals and benefits, the lack of social responsibility, the contradictions between the supply and demand of human resources, the size of enterprises, and so on. And the defect of the thing can be explained from the system of education, the school teachers, and the concepts of education. Besides, the government, who supposed to play an important part in did very few. And there are countermeasure and advice aiming all these causes and problems in this part as well. At last, the author had done substantial analyses abundantly by in-depth interviews and questionnaire surveys in Changsha Vocational Secondary School of Finance and Economics to verify the studies in first three parts. This paper aims to unite all the stakeholders in school-enterprise cooperation to promot its healthy development.
