Responsibility is an important factor to ensure the peaceful coexistence and social stability in our society. This is reflected either in Marx's view, or in accordance with Western ideas, or in the ancient Chinese thinker Xunzi's thought, so we can see that the responsibility plays an extremely important role in our real society. In different historical period, different social roles shoulder different responsibilities. However, as contemporary college students who accepted the higher education, they should take more responsibilities, but they are serious lack of the sense of responsibility for varied reasons, so we want to take targeted measures to improve college students' sense of responsibility. This paper consists of four parts: the first part defined three terms they are responsibility, sense of responsibility, and college students' sense of responsibility, The second part analyze the phenomena of lacking of the sense of responsibility for college students, mainly from four aspects: one is self responsibility desalination on their own learning, emotion, and future; the second one is lacking of responsibility to others, they are usually indifferent to contemporary college students' feeling, their self consciousness is very strong, often ignore others, or even sometimes to damage interests of others to meet their own needs; the third one is the weakening of family responsibility, contemporary college students ignore the pay out of their parents, only ask for something from parents, but did not know the return to their parents or family; the fourth one is the lacking of social and national responsibility, they tend to be indifferent to the affair of state, they do not point out and try to do a little bit to bad social phenomenon, but their behavior themselves contributes to the bad social mood. The third analyze the reasons for the lack of sense of responsibility for College Students, from individual, family, society and school four aspects: for personal reasons, mainly because the students themselves get into society slowly, often from perceptual knowledge to understand social phenomena and because of the college students' psychological development contradictions; as for the impact of family education, because the parents are not able to make themselves an example to children, lead to the family education vacancy, and parents place too much emphasis on achievement and ignore the responsibility education which lead to the loss of sense of responsibility for college student; the third one is the influence of social environment, especially the influx of western culture impact the awareness of contemporary youth to keep and improve the sense of responsibility, and the current transition in our country and the negative corruption phenomenon impact college students' sense of responsibility fiercely; the fourth one is the absence of school's education, specifically manifested in the following aspects: the unclear understanding of responsibility education, the imperfect responsibility education system, the lower level of teachers' quantity and quality of responsibility education, the lack of content, methods and ways of responsibility education, the lack of evaluation mechanism. The fourth part, in view of contemporary college students lack of the sense of responsibility caused by several reasons, targeted to take measures to cultivate college students' sense of responsibility, which is the key part, mainly from the following four aspects to take measures: the first measure is for individuals, ask students to make efforts, and actively participate in social practice, to avoid to understand social phenomena only from perceptual knowledge, they need to carry out the self-reflection and self-criticism actively, the irresponsible behavior should be corrected in time, students should often carry out mutual learning and communicative activities, learn the merits from others, to cultivate their sense of responsibility. The second measure is for the family education, require parents to cultivate children's sense of responsibility in the process of making themselves an example for children, then, parents should have an all-round development education idea, to create the open mode of family education from starting, in addition, parents should make an all-round education of responsibility in the family, more concerned about their children's personality, quality development, not just children's achievements. The third measure is for the social environmental, to optimize the social environment, strengthen the positive public opinion, widely build model, reconstruction the consciousness of responsibility of college students, meanwhile, to increase the punishment to irresponsible phenomenon, so as to construct a good environment for the responsibility education for college students. The fourth measure is for the school education, the related education leadership should strengthen the responsibility of education, improve the responsibility education system structure, improve the responsibility education and teachers' quality, changed the responsibility education method and way, improve the responsibility education content and evaluation mechanism.
