The Research On Improving The Effectiveness Of Ideological And Political Education Of Postgraduates In The New Period

With the leaping development of social economics and the expansion of higher education, the ideological and political education of postgraduates has attained a great achievement. The academic study on this field has come to another stage, standardizing and institutionalizing through practice. Nevertheless, the study on"population characteristic of postgraduate during the new period"is yet not thorough enough. This passage is trying to bring up some measures to improve the effectiveness on the ideological and political education by scientific study and methodology. At the same time, I'm trying to analyse and discuss the challenges we're facing in order to deeper understand the population characteristic of the postgraduates nowadays.In the first chapter, I'm trying to clearly define the words as follows: postgraduates, ideological and political education, ideological and political education of postgraduates, etc. In addition, I would focus on the state of the ideological and political education of postgraduates in our country by comparing the state of this education in the western countries. And I would attempt to reflect on the achievements and shortages by studying the content, measures, approaches and the system. Finally, I would illustrate the keynote and the new version of the ideological and political education, including the meaning and methodology.The second chapter is going to analyse and discuss the challenges now we're facing. From the international perspective, it's influenced by the globalization, informatization and the overwhelming of the western culture. At home, the impact of society paradigm shift, market economy and the atmosphere has accelerated the difficulty to educate. Besides, there're many problems lies in the education itself, such as overlooked by leaders, lack of system to regulate etc. All of these reduce the effect of the education.In the third chapter, I'll focus on the comparison and analysis of postgraduates' population characteristics, which is the focal point of the essay. The characteristics will be concluded by studying these following parts: the postgraduates and undergraduates these days, the postgraduates before and after the expansion of the enrollments of the universities and the overall analysis of the group and individuals of postgraduates. These characteristics include the differences of the student compositions, mentals state and psychological characteristics and behaviors, which aims at improving the effectiveness of the education.In the last chapter, I will try to give some suggestions on how to reinforce the effectiveness on the ideological and political education of postgraduates. The measures should be included as follows: we should stress more in the field such as ideal and belief, academic morality, marriage, psychological health and employment. Moreover, postgraduates should further educate themselves, learn from their peers and truly work step into the society to gain experience. As for the team construction, we should establish a team to take charge of the ideological and political education ranging from the tutors, teachers and postgraduates themselves.
