The purpose of frustration education is to foster the students'self-monitoring to the frustration coping. One key factor that decides whether the students can cope with the frustration correctly or not depends on their cognitions a lot; especially how they evaluate frustration situation or frustration events and the resources of self frustration coping. Questionnaire survey method, case analysis method and literature method are comprehensively adopted in this thesis. After gathering some essays and theses on theory and practice of frustration about young people especially middle school students; then analyzing the psychological development states of middle school students and the current frustration educational situation in junior high schools, I completed this thesis according to my own teaching practice.The purposes of this thesis are the following: to understand the current situation of middle school students of frustration education; to investigate the various causes they feel frustrated; to targetedly explore middle school students of frustration education and then find out the countermeasures of it; and finally to provide a theoretical and practical basis for the future teaching and education.After the research, it is expected that the students'understanding of the frustrationshould be improved; so that they understand frustration exists objectively and inevitably and face frankly to setbacks in their life. When encountering frustration, the students should reduce or eliminate the emotional distress and psychological problems, and the inappropriate response to the frustration,and ultimately learn to self-monitor their own ideas, interpretation and evaluation.In this thesis, "A survey on middle school frustration education " and "A survey on middle school students'daily stress scale" are compiled; combined with analysis of some practical cases, the current situation of frustration education in middle school is investigated and explored. The thesis explores the underlying causes which impact the students'mental health; it also explores the countermeasures from the aspects of schools, families and the students themselves. Therefore, the thesis is of some reference.
