| It is common understanding in today's domestic and international educational world that educational technology highly supports education and teaching activities, during which the teacher's competency of educational technology will make a difference to the teaching process. Especially today, in a comprehensive reform of the new curriculum for basic education, new teaching models and methods are developed with the support of educational technology competency, which promotes the new curriculum reform. Thus, on December 25th,2004, the Ministry of Education issued Standards of Educational Technology Competency for primary and secondary school teachers (Trial), calling for full implementation of The Program to Develop the Educational Technology Competency for Primary and Secondary School Teachers. Until now, in the implementation process, what problems have appeared and what progress have the primary and secondary school teachers made during the past seven years? A lot of education seniority has raised such problems, and made corresponding researches.Sichuan province is a province with large population and abound resources, where implementation of education reform is essential. After research, the author found that in Sichuan, the implementation of educational technology competency training for teachers is not high and The Program was implemented slowly. Through the analysis of the five aspects of training:the organizational system, teacher system, content system, funding system and evaluation system, the author got the reasons why the current training activities have not been fully operated. The author also proposes building a new multi-training system on relevant issues. At the same time, some methods such as self-assessment, peer assessment and administrative assessment are used here to evaluate the feasibility of the training system.Generally speaking, educational technology competency training can be carried out bottom-up, which means local education authorities can work creatively to strengthen with demand and enhance teachers'education competency, thus contributing to the new curriculum reform for basic education. As a result, China can be built to be a great power with strong human resources as soon as possible. |
