The study on the education of farmers has an important theoretical and practical significance on further enriching and improving the farmers'educational theory and promoting the educational development of farmersThe study on the education of farmers in Guangdong Province is based on the guidance of scientific concept of development of socialist, education, psychology and agriculture theory and use the method of documentary research, survey research, comparative analysis to study the questions that exist the education of farmers in the process of building new countryside in Guangdong. The main contents are as follows:The first part is about the educational background of farmers, indicating the purpose and significance of farmers'education to solve rural issues in Guangdong province and build the new socialist countryside. Meanwhile, the contribution of farmers'education from the domestic and foreign scholars is listed.In the second part, firstly, some relative concepts about farmers'education are defined, and secondly state some relative theories about farmers'education such as education theory, psychology, theory and agricultural extension theory to lay the theoretical basis of research.In the third part, the geographical and resource advantage of the farmers'education in Guangdong Province are deeply analyzed. Meanwhile, the practice of farmers'education and taken measures in Pearl River Delta, the mountains of north and the east and west wings are compared and analyzed.In the fourth part, the problems existing in the farmers'education in Guangdong Province are stated including the need to improve the overall quality of farmers, the farmers'education behind the economic development, the lack of government investment, the unbalance education resources and models between backward areas and the developed regions, the lack of talent of farmers'education and the incomplete of farmers'lifelong education laws and regulations.The fifth part is based on the study above to introduce the farmers'education in France, South Korean and Zhejiang Province with the hope of getting the advanced experience as a reference.The sixth part is about the measures and suggestions to promote the farmers' education in Guangdong Province, including the use of existing educational resources to improve the overall quality of farmers, the improvement of the rural social environment to establish the rules of rural talents, the increase of the government funds to continue the development of special farmers'education, the optimization farmer'education programs to achieve the sharing of resources between regions and the strength of the leadership organization to establish long-termed farmers'education.The conclusions are as follows:1. Guangdong Province is a populous province as farmers about half of the population, so the farmers'education directly affects the development of social stability in Guangdong Province. the farmers'education should be a historic and great project. However, the lower quality of farmers and the concept of backward severely affect the modernization process of the rural areas in Guangdong Province. While farmers'education in Guangdong Province has also made some achievements but is still far from what the new period requires to farmers.2. Through the survey of farmers'education in Guangdong Province, the actual needs of farmers education and training in Guangdong Province are found. Most farmers believe that education and training are very important, hoping to strengthen them. The training of farmers is no longer a single agricultural knowledge and technology but exhibits diverse trends. The needs of skills from non-agricultural areas are strong. Farmers want to seize every opportunity to increase self-ability to see the long-term nature of education and training of farmers.3. In recent years, Guangdong Province, according to central directives, adopt a series of measures to strengthen the farmers'education such as the development of vocational secondary education of farmers, carrying out farmers'scientific and technical training project, gradually establishing and improving farmers'technical qualification certificate system and conducting women farmers'scientific education, which are combined with the development of rural economy. Through the reformation and development of rural education, not only farmers'science and technology are improved but also revitalize the rural economy. Farmers'Education plays a positive role in the development of the agricultural and rural economic in Guangdong Province.4. Although Guangdong Province has formed a farmer education and training system, but can not fully meet the new needs of the new socialist countryside construction. There are still some constraints from government departments and farmers their own. Focus should be on the overall quality from farmers to improve rural living conditions and mental looks of farmers to attract talent to the rural area, which requires the government to increase financial investment and organizational management, to optimize education resources and share them between different areas to promote agricultural development of the local and form the characteristics of farmers'education in Guangdong Province to keep farmers education for long and regard the agricultural research and exploration for farmers'education as a lifelong subject. |
