Basic education curriculum reforms which conform to the education of scientific development trends redefine and understand the curriculum resources. The curriculum resources exploitation must change the attitude that ignore curriculum resources and out of resource knowledge rigidity. As the subject of curriculum resources, the textbook quality is an important symbol of education level measured in a nation or a region. Therefore, basic education curriculum reforms using the mode"multiple books for one outline". Based on Ordinary high school geography curriculum standard (tests) which issued by the state in 2003, yet there are four sets of Ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbooks of geography successively published and put into use in our nation. They are respectively published by the People's education press, Hunan education press, Map of China press, Shandong education press.This paper set off from curriculum objectives put forward by new curriculum reform. It starts with curriculum objectives as against too much stress on knowledge and which emphasize knowledge and skills, process and methods, attitudes and values "3d" target reaching. It draw conclusion through comparison between the textbooks content and the curriculum standard entries and analyses in detail of course target reaching condition in two sets of senior geography experimental textbook. Besides, it compares surface system, ability system, structure and style between two textbooks. According to the comparison it proposed revised proposals and teaching advice of the two textbooks. I hope it have certain reference significance in later on textbook revision.
