There have been two approaches for communication. One is languages, and the other is non-language. As a new research field, the study on non-language communication starts at 1950s, although it is far before verbal-language communication, or written one. One thing that people ignore for a long time is that the non-language communication is more universal than the verbal one, because it contains great of information.As a classic way of non-language communication, body language could be trusted on. Allan Pease, a famous linguist on body language in Australia, has declared that verbal communication expresses message, while the body means attitude. So the former is conscious, and the latter is subconscious. People trust on body, because it is true and practical.The body language of teachers in classroom comes from their thinking and emotion. It stays a key position for the accepting of audio-visual information. Additionally, it also means a significance of a Chinese proverb, words and deeds, if they could do body language in a professional career.Body language of teachers in classroom has its either positive effect, or negative effect, so it should be noticed by teachers. In case of study both positive and negative effect, teachers could make the body language helpful to teaching.This paper contains three parts. The first one is the background and literature review for body language researches. The second one is an investigation and analysis for current body language usage in classroom. And the last is for the questions solution and promotion strategies.
