Teaching practice of history majors in normal universities is the integral part of history education practice teaching at normal, is also the indispensable means of cultivating middle school history teachers who meeting the primary education's need. As the key part of normal curriculum system, teaching practice will be receiving the spring of reform; the reform of teacher education in China is also continuous development, with the deepening of the policy of free education for students majoring in teaching. However, until now, our China normal university has not formed a teaching practicum pattern which be generally recognized. Therefore, this article will make free education for students majoring in teaching and new curriculum reform be the background, make northeast normal university's teacher education innovation northeast experimental area be the Platform, research the respect related to normal teaching practice through questionnaire survey and interviews, in the hope of establishing foundation for consummating normal teaching practice.This article includes five parts. The first part is introduction which contains the research background, Research objectives, Research Significance, Research focus, Research Methods and Research summary. The second part is theory level of this research which introduces the evolution of the teaching practice policy in China, the significance of the history majors'teaching practice in normal, the ultimate goal falls on the change requirements which the Free Education for Students Majoring in Teaching propose to Teaching practice of history majors in normal universities. This starts from three sides which contain practice content, Practice base and practice attitude. The third and forth parts are practice level and the main contents of this research. This part mainly designs questionnaire to survey free teacher students major in history, guiding teachers and students in middle school, does individual interview to guiding teachers in university, with the opportunity of teaching practice of free teacher students who major in history and come from grade 2007 at Northeast Normal University. Survey content mainly involves the time, content, style, guiding, attitude and curriculum set of the normal university. This article hopes that pointing out the problem of existence in teaching practice and proposing the development proposals in order to solve them. Here are the solutions: Adjust the time of teaching practice, do cycle training; enrich and carry out the content of teaching practice; do practice education, set practice conscious; strengthen the team building of guiding teachers, set up a selection system for guiding teachers; consummate the construction of practice base; reform the setting of history curriculum in normal university.The fifth part is Conclusion. The author carries on the thorough summary and promotion for this article.
