| The effective application of information technology to the process of maths teaching design is one of the basic concepts of new curriculum standards. Studies have been carried out on the combination of maths and information technology in junior and senior middle school. However, due to the limit of the modern information technology hardware, lack of time because of heavy teaching task, and the shortage of knowledge and operating skills, we narrowly think the combination of maths and information technology just means teachers present their prepared teaching materials to their students, while students passively receive them according to the teachers'teaching design.Rainbow digital teaching platform has provided a practical platform for carrying out a real informational teaching between teachers and students with its powerful generalization, function, convenience and interaction, which will be an ideal means for students to carry out new curriculum reform experiment and online teaching.This paper focuses on the functions of rainbow teaching platform. Besides, through my own teaching experience, this paper explains the design, process and evaluation of middle school maths teaching based on the online teaching platform., using the example of"calculation of mortage". Thus, it forms enquiry teaching pattern combing students independent study and cooperative study in the environment of online teaching platform. In addition, it also puts forward some tips on online teaching platform, as well as some contents which can be taught through this platform. What's more, this paper also offers some suggestions on courses using this platform. Through this platform, students have strengthened their interest in study and broaden their horizon, which helps them improve their learning ability and study achievement to some degree. Personally, I do hope this paper can be a help to others who apply information technology to their maths teaching. |
