| Since our reform and opening to the world,socialist market economy has been developing by leaps and bounds. With the rapidly increasing living standards of the people, the development of the sports industry is propelled. More and more academics were aware of the importance of children basketball teaching to competition sports, school physical education and mass sports. Consequently,they examined the matter from different angles, such as selection, the playground and equipment, analysis of the status quo and education system. This paper analyzes present research achievement of children basketball teaching both at home and abroad, uses the experience of Play&Stay which is the latest theory of the International Tennis Federation,and puts forwards the concept of applying Play&Stay to children basketball teaching.Play&Stay is applied to tennis in earlier time, and made excellent achievements in The ABC of children tennis teaching. We refer its success to precise target and scientific teaching system. Nevertheless, Current Status and Features of our children basketball teaching are different from great basketball powers'. The experience and pattern produce a bad effect on the popularity of children basketball among ordinary people. As a result, this paper discuss the feasibility of applying Play&Stay to children basketball teaching with hope of incorporating the spirit of Play&Stay into it from the point of theory.All theories originate from practice and in turn serve practice. At all round, this paper tests the feasibility and effect of applying Play&Stay to children basketball teaching by experiment.Besides this, this paper draw a conclusion that Play&Stay can be applied to children basketball teaching successfully and gets results in respects of teaching effect and learning interest. At last, this paper sets forward several practical proposals about how to apply and popularize Play&Stay to children basketball teaching. |
